Pre-show Cocktail Reception with tickets to see the Tony award-winning Broadway musical Come From Away!

The Tony award-winning hit musical Come From Away takes place in Gander, Newfoundland, where a community comes together to support stranded passengers in the wake of 9/11.

Like the folks in Gander, Sherbourne warmly welcomes everyone. We’re an open community, where our newcomer clients come from near and far and experience kindness in our centre. We meet people where they are and help them shape their path to wellness through our community programs, one-to-one support, and outreach.

We provide welcoming spaces for LGBTQ young people fleeing oppression; we care for refugees and their families with culturally sensitive health care; we empower newcomer women with knowledge about health and wellness. We support clients from near and far with dignity and respect, even during the hardest of times.

Caring for refugees and newcomers through a variety of programs, groups and supports is central to what we do. We inspire holistic health, build knowledge and leadership skills, and develop a vibrant community through initiatives like SOY Express, health promotion and wellness groups, and peer development projects.

Join us on May 23 to help raise funds for Sherbourne’s newcomer health programs with tickets and a special pre-show reception to see Come From Away. Show that you also care about the health of our newcomer community.
