Step 3: Download and complete the Third Party Fundraiser Agreement.
We can help by providing information about programs, pledge forms and tips for success.

Looking for fundraising inspiration?

  • Ask for donations in lieu of gifts at your special event (birthday, wedding, baby shower)
  • Hold a 50/50 draw or silent auction
  • Organize a walking or running challenge
  • Host a bake sale or BBQ
  • Plan a karaoke night or talent show, and collect donations at the door or for requested songs
  • What would you like to give up – Facebook? TV? Chocolate?! Why not use us a daily incentive, and raise funds for your favourite program along the way?

Tip: Don’t forget you can include a link to our ‘Donate’ page in emails and facebook posts when you’re promoting your event – that way they can donate directly and receive an instant tax receipt.

SOYBoot_4Kinky Boots Fundraising Event for Sherbourne’s Supporting Our Youth (SOY) Program

The Toronto premiere of Kinky Boots on June 16, 2015 was a spectacular evening filled with fun and flair! With the generous support of our sponsors and 100 guests, $10,000 was raised for SOY’s support programs for LBGTQ youth in our city.

A special thank you to Presenting Sponsor Meridian Credit Union and Mirvish Productions for their support in making the event a fantastic success.

While guests indulged in appetizers courtesy of CaterTrendz Culinary Production and beverages from Trius wines and Steam Whistle, they heard from youth ambassadors from Supporting Our Youth (SOY) H.E.A.T. (Human Rights. Equity. Access. Team.). The youth spoke about what SOY means to them and the impact of where donor support goes.

Through the funds raised at the event, SOY is empowered to continue to equip LGBTQ youth with opportunities to build skills, resilience and inspire a community together.
