Whether you’re just starting to explore the adoption process or you’re already matched with a child\, this session will give you the tools\, support and insights to make this experience positive\, empowering and fulfilling—for you and for the child you’re welcoming into your family. \nAs 2SLGBTQ+ parents\, you bring a unique perspective to adoption\, one filled with love\, resilience and authenticity. You are part of a larger\, vibrant community of families who understand the importance of inclusion\, openness and connection. This session will provide a high-level overview of the costs associated with fertility treatment\, including treatment\, medications and additional expenses. We will also explore available financial support options\, including government funding and ongoing advocacy efforts to improve access\, as well as alternative funding sources such as grants. Participants will learn about the Modern Miracle Foundation’s grant program\, including the application process\, timelines and review process to help better understand what support may be available along their journey.
