Community Chiropractic Clinic
Chiropractic medicine focuses on disorders related to the spine, nervous system, and joints. Chiropractic manipulation or adjustment treats areas of decreased movement in the joints to reduce pain, dysfunction, and muscular spasm.
Chiropractic medicine is a proven, effective and safe form of treatment for conditions affecting the muscle and skeletal systems in the body.
Chiropractic Doctors are highly trained primary health care providers who integrate standard medical diagnostics with a broad range of chiropractic treatments.
The Chiropractic Clinic is a student practicum clinic operated by Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
It is staffed by final-year student interns, who co-ordinate the delivery of services to clients, under the supervision of licensed chiropractic doctors.
Chiropractic services include treatment of the following:
- Back and neck pain
- Range of motion problems
- Sports related injuries
- Nutritional Counselling

The Community Naturopathic Clinic at Sherbourne Health is a no-fee teaching clinic operated by The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Clients are provided naturopathic care by licensed naturopathic doctors and the CCNM student clinical interns they supervise.
Naturopathic medicine addresses the root causes of illness and promotes healing using natural therapies. Naturopathic doctors are highly-trained, primary health care providers who integrate standard medical diagnostics with a broad range of natural therapies.
Naturopathic Medicine incorporates several therapies including:
- Clinical nutrition
- Botanical Medicine
- Lifestyle counselling
The Community PHA Naturopathic Clinic at Sherbourne Health provides no-fee naturopathic services, with a specialized clinic for people living with HIV/AIDS. The Clinic is a partnership of the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation (PWA), the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and Sherbourne Health. It functions as a teaching clinic where licensed naturopathic doctors, supervising CCNM student clinical interns, provide naturopathic care to clients.
This clinic could not offer its services without the generous funding and support of individual donors and funders including the M.A.C. AIDS Fund.
Patient care at the Community PHA Naturopathic Clinic is provided on Wednesdays between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
NOT LIMITED TO PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS
The Community Naturopathic Clinic provides naturopathic care to all people residing within the Sherbourne Health catchment area. Services are also provided to all individuals identifying as 2SLGBTQ and residing within the GTA.
To become a patient of the Community Naturopathic Clinic, you must answer “yes” to any of the following criteria:
- You identify as a member of the 2SLGBTQ community
- You are currently seeing a health care provider at Sherbourne Health
- You live in the Sherbourne Health neighbourhood
- You are experiencing homelessness and/or living in a shelter
- You are a recent newcomer to Canada
