Join us for ‘A Night at the Theatre’ Fundraiser in support of Sherbourne Health
Pre-show Reception with tickets to see the Tony award-winning Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen!
Serious issues such as youth suicide, mental illness, social isolation and the need to find a place to belong face youth and young people in our city today. The 6-time Tony award-winning Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen challenges us to confront these issues, talk openly about youth mental health and how collectively we can come together to support our youngest community members.
There are young people like Evan Hansen all over Toronto. Sherbourne’s mental health supports create new ways for youth to move along their path to mental wellness.
At Sherbourne, we meet youth and young adults where they are in their life journey, and help them move along their path to mental wellness. We listen to youth, many of whom are LGBT2SQ, with kindness and compassion through one-to-one supports; we welcome youth into spaces in health and wellness programs, including newcomers and refugees, to grow their confidence and belonging; and, we provide opportunities for youth to grow their health knowledge and self care strategies through the work of dedicated and expert staff.
Caring for youth and young adults in our communities through a variety of supports, programs, and groups is central to what we do at Sherbourne. By supporting Sherbourne’s third ‘A Night at the Theatre,’ you support mental health and wellness programming at Sherbourne that brings hopefulness to our youth clients, where our staff listen and care, and help them recognize the possibility that things will get better.
Join us on May 7 on National Child and Youth Mental Health Day to raise funds to support mental health and wellness programming at Sherbourne with a special pre-show reception and tickets to Dear Evan Hansen.
Thank you for your support.
