Parenting and Family Resources, LGBT2SQ Communities

  • An exciting evolution of LGBT2SQ parenting programs at Sherbourne Health

As a program of Sherbourne Health, the LGBTQ Parenting Network has steadily served the unique needs of LGBT2SQ parents, their children and those who are considering parenthood for well over a decade. Continuing its legacy of providing practical, impactful programming and supports to its service users, the program is evolving to focus on information and referral services and capacity building, as an integrated approach to Sherbourne’s broader offering of LGBT2SQ programs and health services. To better reflect this evolution, the services provided by the LGBTQ Parenting Network will fully operate under the LGBT2SQ Communities Team and be referred to as “Parenting and Family Resources, LGBT2SQ Communities.”

The LGBT2SQ Parenting and Family Resources Program at Sherbourne Health provides information, resources, and referrals for queer and trans folks looking to grow their families, LGBT2SQ families, and gender-expansive kids and youth. Our goal is to make access to information, programs, and services more readily available to all members of our diverse communities. We offer support in relation to:

    • Queer and trans family planning
    • Gender-affirming parenting
    • Social support programs
    • And much more…

Whether you’re a member of the LGBT2SQ community or seeking information to support an LGBT2SQ friend or family member, we’re here to help! You can reach out to our Family Resource Worker for more information:
