SOY Lead

SOY Lead is a peer leadership program for 2SLGBTQ+ youth (29 and under) where participants develop skills and gain hands-on experience in peer support, leadership and community building.
Develop skills in:
- community care and social justice
- trauma-informed support
- one-on-one peer support
- health promotion
- arts-based programming
- group facilitation
Participants also take part in a supervised practicum, giving them the chance to practice these skills in real community settings.
Everyone selected receives a weekly honorarium, dinner and TTC fare for each session. Sessions are co-led by alumni of the SOY Lead program.
