The Starfish Swim Group is a free swim space for trans, two-spirit, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, agender, third gender, gender questioning, and non-binary folks aged 16 and up. In partnership with Toronto Purple Fins, a swimming instructor will support folks with basic swimming skills. A welcoming space for all abilities!
The group offers many exciting elements:
- Free swimming gear (swimsuit, goggles)
- A low-impact exercise to maintain your physical and mental wellbeing
- Swimming instructor to help guide you in the pool
- Nourishing meal after the workout
- Free TTC transportation to and from the pool
- Make friends and join a supportive community!
