Description: Thinking about building your family through surrogacy or gamete donation? Join us for a relaxed, informative session where we’ll explore the key legal considerations involved in these pathways to parenthood. We’ll begin by reviewing donor agreements (for sperm, ova, or embryos) and what they should include to ensure that everyone involved has clear expectations from the start. We’ll then look at surrogacy agreements, discussing important medical, financial, emotional and legal considerations that help support a smooth process for all parties. Finally, we’ll walk through how legal parentage is transferred to intended parents, so you’ll understand what to expect during the important step when your family officially begins.
