Covid-19 Information at Sherbourne

Sherbourne Health strongly encourages everyone who is eligible and can receive a COVID-19 vaccine to get one as soon as possible. Please continue to follow public health measures to protect yourself and those around you.

Active Screening

Anyone who arrives at our building (i.e., staff and service users) will be actively screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering. Those who are or may be COVID positive will be directed accordingly.

In-Person and Virtual Care

We are resuming in-person primary care and mental health visits. On occasion, clients may use virtual appointments when they are accessible and work with their particular concerns. If you prefer a virtual visit, please let your provider know.

If you feel ill or have any symptoms of a respiratory virus (fever, cough or shortness of breath), please let the screeners at the front know, and wear a mask and sanitize your hands when entering Sherbourne Health. You may also want to consider taking a COVID-19 rapid antigen test at home, and letting your provider know if you test positive for COVID-19 prior to coming onsite.

All service users coming to the centre will be screened for respiratory illness symptoms and will be asked to wear a mask and wait in a separate room if they screen positive for potential respiratory illness and/or COVID-19.
