Trans and Non-Binary Career Connections

Career Connections offers a unique series of workshops and peer support sessions to consider the needs of the whole person while building employment skills.

Career Connections Workshops

On Tuesdays from October 24 to December 20, participants will engage in a series of workshops, created to empower trans and non-binary individuals in various stages of their career paths. From laying foundational topics on employment, to strategies for navigating job applications, each session brings specialized insights. Topics range from exploring career pathways, mastering resume writing, asserting workplace boundaries, to understanding legal rights in the workplace. Every workshop aims to increase participants’  professionalism and confidence, ensuring they are supported and prepared in their unique career journey.

Peer Support Sessions

On Wednesdays from October 25 to December 21, Career Connection participants can join peer support sessions designed to offer a space for trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals to share, learn, and grow together. These sessions will foster an environment where participants can openly discuss various topics on life and work, such as mental health, self-advocacy, and navigating workplace challenges. Each session will encourage community dialogue, while offering coping strategies, and promoting mental well-being with the support of our mental health counselors.
