March 21 – Well at Work: Trans and Non-Binary Career Fair
To cap off our 2024 workshops, the Trans and Non-Binary Career Connections program will host a career fair for trans and non-binary job seekers. Attendees can join the fair’s morning or afternoon slot to meet and network with employers committed to hiring trans and non-binary job seekers at all stages of career development.
Employers attending include: Rogers, City of Toronto, TD, RBC, Lush and many more.
The Trans and Non-Binary Career Connections Career Fair will take place on March 21 from 1 – 4 p.m. at Sherbourne Health (333 Sherbourne St.) on the second floor. The event is open to anyone over the age of 18.
Career Connections Workshops
Participants will engage in a series of workshops, created to empower trans and non-binary individuals in various stages of their career paths. From laying foundational topics on employment, to strategies for navigating job applications, each session brings specialized insights. Topics range from exploring career pathways, mastering resume writing, asserting workplace boundaries, to understanding legal rights in the workplace. Every workshop aims to increase participants’ professionalism and confidence, ensuring they are supported and prepared in their unique career journey.
Winter 2024 sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 2 – 3 p.m.
