Andrew Shin

Andrew is a CPA, CA and is currently the Vice President, Investigations, Corporate Security at Scotiabank. He has 25+ years of professional experience in the banking and consulting industries with an expertise in forensic and investigative accounting, fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, risk and controls. Throughout his career, Andrew has actively participated in initiatives to support and promote diversity, equity and inclusion. At Scotiabank, Andrew is a representative on one of the executive DE&I councils that develops strategies and support for equity deserving groups, and also serves as the executive champion for the DE&I council’s LGBTQ+ sub-committee. Growing up as part of a newcomer family in Toronto, and through previous volunteer experience at shelter and meal programs in the Sherbourne community, Andrew has a personal connection and lived experience with the priority populations and neighbourhoods that Sherbourne Health serves.
