Leighanne Layman

Leighanne is currently Global Head, High Risk Client Management at RBC. She has 20 years of experience working in anti-financial crimes within financial institutions and the Canadian government. Throughout her career, Leighanne has prioritized participation in initiatives aimed at supporting priority populations and neighbourhoods, as she witnessed firsthand the importance and impact they have on individuals and communities alike. Leighanne previously served as a board member for Project Recover, a not-for-profit organization that helps human trafficking survivors escape coercive debt. Originally from St John’s, NL, Leighanne lived in the Sherbourne community for 7 years
