Home⁄About⁄Board of Directors⁄Lera Nwineh

Lera Nwineh

Lera is a licensed lawyer with the Law Society of Ontario (2024) and holds a Juris Doctor from Western University. Lera earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Toronto, where they received multiple academic awards. Lera’s legal experience spans litigation, regulatory law, corporate governance and legal technology. Lera has served as National Treasurer for the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada and contributed to research on racial profiling. With additional credentials in financial technology and securities, Lera brings a multidisciplinary, equity-focused approach to modern legal practice.
