Monica Bienefeld

Monica is the Policy Advisor and Pandemic Workplace Safety Program Lead for the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development where she provides policy analysis, strategic advice, and briefings on COVID-19 response. Monica has a PhD in Public Health Sciences (Epidemiology).

Monica is a seasoned public health researcher and has a deep commitment to effective, collaborative approaches to improve health and wellness outcomes and equity. She has served as Director on several Boards such as the University of Toronto Public Health Alumni Association where she led the development and implementation of a new constitution and governance structure.
