John Rider

John Rider leads the Title Division – Retail and Commercial for Chicago Title Insurance Company Canada (CTIC). He joined CTIC in July of 2015, bringing a wealth of experience in setting up businesses for expansive growth, improved customer service and increased profitability. John is a “recovering” lawyer and has worked at two of the top national law firms in the country in their corporate and real estate groups. He then moved to First Canadian Title in the commercial division and then on to FMC Law (Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, now Dentons) where John ran the marketing and business development department. John has extensive community board experience including Sherbourne Health, MTIIAC (Chair), United Way of Toronto and Peel, Law Cabinet, Culture Days (Ontario Chair) and Harmony Hall (Chair). John lives in and cares about the Sherbourne community. He has a personal wish in ensuring that the there is a healthy, safe and supportive network of service in the neighborhood. He is very interested in ensuring that local agencies are diverse and inclusive in their make-up and approach to providing support.
