Home⁄About⁄Board of Directors⁄Siphelele Danisa

Siphelele Danisa

Siphelele Danisa (He/They) currently serves as a Research and Business Development Officer at the University of Toronto, where he supports strategic partnerships between industry and the Department of Computer Science. He has worked across the technology and finance sectors in research and applied science roles, with a focus on areas such as multi-agent systems, interest rate modeling and volatility dynamics. His academic background includes a Master of Science in Applied Computing from the University of Toronto and in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town.

Siphelele is deeply committed to social justice and actively explores models for restructuring societal systems to build sustainable and self-sufficient, care-centered frameworks for marginalized communities. His community engagement efforts bridge grassroots action with systemic change. He is an avid runner, fundraiser, dedicated advocate for equity and inclusive community development and proud member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
