Athavarn Srikantharajah
Athavarn is a facilitator and researcher with a focus on social policy, equity, and governance. He currently works at Family Service Toronto with Campaign 2000, a national coalition to end child and family poverty, where he coordinates a community-based research project engaging local communities to develop new indicators for tracking federal progress towards ending poverty. Athavarn brings several years experience working in civil society organizations with a focus on policy research, public participation, migration, and youth. Athavarn’s work has taken him across the country and around the world including the United States, Poland, South Africa, and Jordan. Athavarn holds a bachelors in sociology from the University of Ottawa as a McCall MacBain Loran Scholar.
